The use of this Drum increases the life of Trailing cable for conveying the current to Lifting Magnets. This is a must to prevent loose cables and to avoid breakage. Adjustable collector fingers are mounted on an insulated support and are connected to the trailing cable. Stationery Collector Rings are carried on the main hollow spindle which is supported rigidly. The Drums are Spring Controlled or Sprocket driven, in which motion is taken from the Drum of the crane and synchronised with the Hook Movement. The Drum may be arranged for mounting on the crane, Jib or Crab or Trolley, and supplied as Single or Double Side supported. Cable Drums are to be selected as per the facility available with the Crane, Height of Lift required, Power Drawn by the Magnet and the number of Slip Rings needed.
