A Direct Current supply is required for the excitation of Lifting Magnets. Where only A.C supplies are available, a transformer Rectifier Unit can be supplied. This consist of Transformer, Silicon Diode stack, Fuses, Tap Changing Switches, Voltmeter, Ammeter, Indicating Lamps, On-Off Switch etc.
