The In-Line Magnetic separator is meant to suspend at discharge point of the conveyor which automatically discharges tramp iron in the same direction as the main conveyor travels. When Installed at an angle over the material discharge point, it will function same as a suspended Magnetic separator installed at discharge point. But it will be self cleaning and will discharge the picked iron material away from the processed material. Furthermore, if there is a possibility of encountering long pieces of iron, such as roof bolts and drill rods, the In-Line not only is preferred but a must. Long iron pieces without any danger of jamming and tearing up of a long section of expensive conveyer belting.
